This information is especially for chess players who are based outside Nigeria. Here is the new composition of the NCF below (many of us seems to be in the dark about this until now).
The new Chairman of the Nigeria Chess Federation (NCF) is the former Assistant Commissioner of Police Mr. ACP. Sani MOHAMMED.
The first vice chairman is Mr Lekan Adeyemi and
The secretary of the NCF is Mrs George.
From the information we are able to gather from diffrent sources, the New Chairman of NCF is a decent and honourable man who has helped a lot of chess players in many ways in the past. It is belived that with the new title of the Chairman of the Nigeria Chess federation on his mantle, he will even do more to improve chess in Nigeria. We welcome the new team and look forward to working with them to improve chess in our country and to aid our chess players in everyway possible.
